We recognize the importance of a sound education in developing good values, morals and strong leadership for the future, in part from our own experiences and the benefits we at AJCL have gained from our educational background. Accordingly, we support very strongly education and community building efforts across Pakistan that reach out and empower people. The Ahmed E. H. Jaffer Foundation (a non profit organization) has been established to provide a quality education to both boys and girls for their self-development. This foundation has now approved conceptual designs and is raising funds for “The Hub School”; a boarding school of excellence for the Nation.
Following the recent tragic earthquake in Pakistan we were heartened to see how the people of Pakistan and indeed the world came together in support of our brothers and sisters in the affected regions. AJCL, too, played a small role in extending a hand of support and love to those directly affected. Omer Adil Jaffer headed the AJCL humble Earthquake relief operations. AJCL also partners with several leading NGOs in Pakistan that have in place successful and well managed operations that help build sustainable initiatives that improve the lives of those less fortunate.
